Encanto Music
ENCANTO MUSIC – THE ART OF ORGANISATION FOR ORGANISING ART
Encanto Music is an association founded by musicians with the aim to further the international cooperation in the high-class arts as well as foster an environment for creating novel artistic expressions at the junction between different art forms. In the Encanto philosophy, the word new means building and moving forward, not boundaries or anything else that breaks. It is a play with combinations and a dive into the depths of the human condition.
Encanto Music’s most important project is the yearly festival, Helsinki Early Music Festival. The association also organises large and small individual projects and coordinates different projects. Especially the Nordic cooperation and its expansion to include Germany and the Baltic countries has been significant in the 2020s. There has been artists from more than 20 countries in Encanto's activities.
