In the gallery in Kanneltalo, a space is created for the listener where the surrounding life and the
other members of the audience momentarily become secondary, only the music and the musician
are important. Book your own free, personal performance, come and follow the live encounters in
the background or come and watch a video compilation.

X. FEEL. is Helsinki Early Music Festival’s version of the Finnish Baroque Orchestra’s Baroque
performance laboratory Come.Feel.

On Friday 6 th Oct from 3 pm to 6 pm and on Saturday 7 th Oct from 1 pm to 4 pm there are altogether
12 half an hour long encounters, with one musician performing concentrating on one member of the
audience at a time.

The performances are filmed by the videographer Jeremy Barrois, and he compiles selected
moments into a video, which can be seen in the Kanneltalo gallery as part of Helsinki Early Music
Festival. The video is available in the Kanneltalo gallery from 11 th Oct to 21 st Oct 2023.
