Vesteri Ollinen started playing the piano at the age of seven, and today he is studying jazz piano as his major at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory in Helsinki, with singing as his minor subject. Ollinen is interested in arranging and music production, and composes actively with different music production programs. He moved on to the Sibelius High School from the music classes in Kruununhaka lower secondary school, where he participated in several productions and sang in the school’s chamber choir. Nowadays, he sings in the student choir Ylioppilaskunnan Laulajat. Last year, he did his military service in the Conscript Band of the Finnish Defence Forces, where he played keyboards in the show band. He became a non-commissioned officer, and during that period he did three big band Christmas arrangements.
