Petteri Pitko

The harpsichordist Petteri Pitko plays concerts actively as both a soloist and chamber musician. He also plays in The Finnish Baroque Orchestra (FiBO). His versatile repertoire stretches from early baroque music to the most modern first performances. He is the artistic director of The Finnish Baroque Orchestra as well as teacher in early music at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Pietarsaari. Pitko studied the harpsichord at the Sibelius Academy, Universität der Künste Berlin and in Paris with Mitzi Meyerson and Huguette Dreyfus as his teachers.
