Inka Pärssinen

Inka Pärssinen (b. 1994) is at the end of her master studies in modern trumpet at the Sibelius-academy. In her diploma she has also included her studies in early music. Pärssinen got acquainted with the valveless trumpet during her studies at the conservatory of Turku, and during the years 2016-2018 she studied the baroque trumpet with Miikka Saarinen as her teacher at the Sibelius-academy. At the moment Pärssinen studies privately under Friedemann Immer’s supervision. Pärssinen works as a freelancer at the Finnish symfony and baroque orchestras. With FiBO, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra, she played the first time during the spring of 2017.
